My Class Mission Staetment

My English class wrote a mission statement. A mission statement is a goal put into a statement. My class partnered up and we thought of sentences or phrases we liked and wanted to follow. Then, we shared our mission statements and voted on the best phrases. Our teacher later put the phrases we most liked together. We revised the mission statement, and now we have a class mission statement. It looks like this:

Everyday, English opens a new chapter. I will pick up my books and pens and take down the monster that is known as doubt.  In English there is no limit to what you can write or what you can read. I will explore new ideas in my daily writing with creativity. I will listen and be involved for the better of the class.

This room is where we are on the same team, so we will forgive and understand because everyone has a story.  We express ourselves with confidence. Staying focused and showing kindness to others will be the key to success for this year. This is the room where you can be yourself.

Be kind to everyone, everywhere, every day.

We’re savage–no one can change that. In the end there is one thing you need to take away from this class, and that is…… YOU CAN DO IT!
Do you like it? Tell me in the comments! Do you think your class should do a class mission statement? Ask your teacher! It always helps to have a goal to follow. QOTD (Question of the Day): What’s a sentence or phrase you would like to put into a personal mission statement? Tell me in the comments! (Ideas to blog about are also always welcome) Even though my class mission doesn’t say this phrase, I like the phrase: “You have a welcome that is always unlimited.” So tell me what your favorite phrase is in the comments!
